THE FRAMEWORK
THE PRODUCTION-
FIRST AI
SYSTEM.
Most AI advisors deliver a strategy document and leave. Mark builds operational capability — the systems, workflows, and guardrails that make AI actually work inside your organisation.
Drawing on 20 years of creative production with global brands, the approach is grounded in how organisations actually function, not how they look on a consultancy slide.

COMMON QUESTIONS
FAQ.
What does an AI consultant actually do?
Rather than just recommending tools, a good AI consultant looks at how your organisation operates and identifies where AI can genuinely save time, reduce cost, or improve output — then builds a plan to get there without the hype or the risk.
How is this different from an AI training course?
A training course teaches people to use specific tools. Consultancy looks at your organisation as a whole — strategy, workflow, culture, risk — and builds something bespoke. The two can complement each other but they're not the same thing.
How long does a typical engagement last?
A standalone AI audit takes about a week. A full strategy and implementation engagement typically runs two to three months. Ongoing advisory retainers are available for organisations that want continued capability-building support.
What size organisations do you work with?
From ambitious SMEs to large corporates and government-backed bodies. The approach adapts to the size and complexity of the organisation — what works for a 20-person agency is different to a 500-person corporate.
How do you measure success?
Success metrics are agreed at the start of every engagement: time saved per week, reduction in manual tasks, output quality improvements, or revenue from new AI-enabled capabilities. Good consultancy should be measurable.
Do you work remotely or on-site?
Both. Most strategic work is done remotely. For workshops and team sessions, on-site is often more effective. Based in Bristol — travel available nationally.
Does every engagement follow the four-stage framework exactly?
The Production-First AI System™ is the backbone, not a rigid script. Some organisations need all four stages in full. Others come in at a specific point — a team that already has tools in place but needs governance, or a leadership team that needs a strategic roadmap without the full audit. The framework shapes every engagement, but how it's applied is always scoped around what the specific organisation actually needs. If anything, the Serco engagement is proof of that — the framework informed the approach but the session itself was built entirely around their real projects and workflows.
What's the difference between AI strategy and AI capability?
Strategy is the plan. Capability is the plan working. Most consultants stop at strategy. The Production-First AI System™ is designed specifically to get organisations to capability — AI that is actually embedded, used consistently, and delivering results.
What industries do you work with?
Creative agencies, professional services, marketing, property, and government-backed organisations. The principles of good AI adoption are consistent across sectors — what changes is the application and the specific workflows being transformed.
